Privacy Policy

This document describes our policies and procedures relating to information we receive when you visit and interact with our websites and services.
YOUR USE OF THIS SITE AND ANY RELATED SERVICES IS SUBJECT TO THE FOLLOWING TERMS AND CONDITIONS.
IF YOU DO NOT AGREE TO THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONS THEN LEAVE THIS SITE NOW.
THESE TERMS ARE SUBJECT TO CHANGE SO REVISIT AND REVIEW THEM PERIODICALLY.

The words “information” and “data” are used herein interchangeably and include all manner of data or information including, but not limited, to text, voice or audio, imagery (photos, video, graphics, documents, pdf, img files, etc.) and all other forms of data or information, whether in digital, analog or physical format.

Data We Collect, How We Collect It, Why We Collect It, and How We Use the Data

E-Mail and Electronic Messaging

If you choose to e-mail us then whatever information is included in the e-mail and any attachments you provide will be collected. Also, information included in the e-mail’s “header”, generated and incorporated by your e-mail software, will be collected automatically.

When you provide an e-mail address, phone number or other “point of contact” information (such as a physical address or postal box) you:

  1. represent that you are the owner or person in primary control of that e-mail address, phone number, or other point of contact, or that you are personally authorized by the owner or person in control to submit the contact information; and,
  2. you agree that your action, in submitting the contact information authorizes us to send notifications, newsletters, and other information to that point of contact from time to time.

You may remove your supplied contact information at your discretion, provided the request comes from the previously identified point of contact. For example, a request to remove an email address must originate from that address (or a reasonable and verifiable explanation from another point of contact must be provided.) E-mails sent to a list of recipients will include instructions for how a user may remove himself or herself from the list.

We may employ “interactive chat” or “online instant message” services, which may be provided by third-party service providers. Before using such service please review their Terms of Service and/or Privacy Policy since it likely will vary from our terms and policies. Such services typically record your IP address to route messages and will likely use cookies or other software to track the chat session and keep it alive. They may also keep a record of the actual chat session’s dialogue and your username or personal name.

Public Comment and Public Data Publishing Systems

In order to prevent or minimize misuse of our public commenting systems, including the posting (publishing) of comments or information that violates our Terms and Conditions of Use, Privacy Policy, Participation Policy, or Copyright Policy, we require visitors who intend to comment to complete a registration form. The information you are required to provide, in order to comment, is set forth in the form itself.
The information we collect may vary, based on nature of your intended participation or action, such as make a comment, sending us a message, or publishing a listing.
Generally, at a minimum, we will require you to provide a verifiable personal or business e-mail address, a login name, a displayable username (may be different than login), your actual first and last name, and other details as indicated by the online form.
This information will ordinarily be processed software or by third-party service providers to filter out, protect against and block spammers or malicious actor or their agents or bots from accessing, harming or degrading our server or services. By registering you agree to the release and analysis of the information you provide to third-parties for such analysis. If you are unwilling to agree to such processing then do not register and do not attempt to use our commenting or information posting systems.

This site may make chat rooms, forums, message boards, directory listings and other methods of posting information available to website visitors and users. Any information that is disclosed in these areas will likely become public information PERMANENTLY. Therefore, you should exercise discretion and caution when deciding to disclose your personal information.

When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to aid in spam detection or to check for multiple identities tied to the same IP address (another form of spamming).

An anonymized string created from your e-mail address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.

Comment or Information / Data Uploading, Public Access and Availability, Retention and Deletion

Our websites, by design, are built for the publication, public sharing and display of data, information, ideas, imagery, and personal or business data that is meant to be shared for your benefit, for the benefit of your business or organization, for the benefit of the public, and for other beneficial purposes.

Anything that you post or upload to this site should be considered forever in the public space. Therefore, if you want to maintain the privacy of your information of any kind, including statements of your thoughts or ideas, photographs, graphics or anything else capable of electronic transmission, either do not register or do not comment, post, upload or otherwise use our system to present or convey information.

Once you use our system to present, make known or publish something that information will quickly be accessed by search engine “bots” (software that collects online data), other bots (non-search engine data harvesters, who collect and redistribute online information for profit or other purposes), and individuals who will copy and repost whatever they find onto other websites. Once information is made public online it will invariably be impossible to stop it from spreading further and impossible to delete.

Comments, once posted, will not be removed except for violations of our terms and conditions. Why? Because comments cause others to respond. If comments that evoke responses are removed then the responsive comments become incomprehensible and lose their value.

Media

If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.

Contact Forms

If you submit information by using a contact form then we will collect and store that information in order to (potentially) act on the information you provided. Your IP address and browser information may (presumably will) be automatically recorded by the form’s software.

Directory and other “Listings” Submissions

If you submit your business or company information then, by virtue of filling in and submitting the directory listing form, you will know the information we are collecting and will make publicly available for viewing online, subject to your compliance with all applicable terms and conditions.
By submitting your information for inclusion in the directory or listings section of this website you agree to its public display.
You acknowledge and agree that, upon inclusion and display, any person with a browser or other software, will be able to view, record, collect, make use of and possibly further disseminate and act upon the information your disclose – including contacting you or your business by whatever means to provide such as a website URL, a phone number, an e-mail address, a street address, a social media profile or social media presence, and any other method you provide.

Payment Data (Credit, Debit and Other Payment Methods)

We do not collect or store you credit card, debit card, banking or other payment information. All financial transactions relating to this site (such listing or advertising fees) are handled by third-party payment processors. Your interaction with third-party processors is subject to the processor’s terms of use, privacy policy and data security policy and practices.

Other Information Gathered Via This Website

This site uses cookies to improve the quality of service, such as storing user preferences, improving search results and ad selection, and tracking user trends.
Cookies are also used so you the user do not have to log in a password more than once, thereby saving time.
If you do not wish to optimize the use of our site through using cookies, you should be able to reject any site’s cookies by changing preferences in your web browser.

Google, as a third-party vendor, uses cookies to serve ads on this site.
Google’s use of the DART cookie enables it to serve ads to users based on their visit to this site and other sites on the Internet. Users may opt out of the use of the DART cookie by visiting the Google ad and content network privacy policy. Overall, cookies enhance your web browsing experience by providing more relative information.

Web Beacons

A web beacon is an electronic image in a web page or email, often consisting of a single pixel, which allows a website operator or email sender to analyze user engagement. Aggregated data from web beacons is often formatted into charts and reports. Data relating to visitor or user engagement or website interaction is generally critical to the website’s success as the data points to visitor or user interests (or lack thereof), suggesting where to invest resources or curtail investment.

Links to Other Websites or Online Content

This site contains links to other webpages, websites and other online contents. Such links do not constitute endorsements. Since we do not control other websites or their online contents you should take steps to assure that your device is protected from actions of malicious actors, such as hackers, who may gain control of websites, webpages, or other online content.
We are not responsible for the protection of any information which you provide while visiting other sites. Since other sites are not governed by this privacy policy. You should read the privacy policy of all sites.

We may format our links in a manner that enables us to track whether these links have been clicked and/or followed. We use this information to improve the quality of your search, to customize the content, to keep track of referrals and / or to improve advertising.
Such links may also be used to credit our website with sending a visitor to a third-party site with which we have an affiliate relationship. (See affiliate disclosure elsewhere.)

Log Files and Analytics

Log files are records that are automatically created by our Web server when you access our site.
Log files record IP addresses, dates and times of visits, browser information, operating system (O/S) information, pages that you browsed or attempted to view, content viewed or downloaded to your browser or other interface (such as photos or graphical images), the volume (in Kilobytes or Megabytes) of content you downloaded.
We use this information to analyze user’s interests, visitor trends and to possibly gather demographic information of our users since IP addresses may indicate the country or other general area from which a visitor is viewing this site. Generally, an IP address cannot, without other information typically gathered only by subpoena to an ISP, be used to identify a specific person or a specific location (internet connection).

Except for affiliate links we do not track users when they browse away to third-party websites. Therefore, we do not respond to Do Not Track (DNT) signals.
Certain advertising networks, ones that automatically load ads to the pages you browse, may themselves use “tracking beacons” or cookies that will effectively follow you to other websites that use similar or related advertising systems. These companies will attempt, via their software, to present advertisements that are “personalized” to you, based upon websites you have previously visited. It can be a bit spooky or annoying unless or until you understand that it’s merely meant to provide advertisements relevant to your (presumed) interests and advertisements provide the financial lifeblood to many websites. A little of an annoyance may not be too much to bear (you control your cookies) to support your access to otherwise free-to-view websites.

Analytics

This website periodically uses Google Analytics (GA), a Web analytics service provided by Google, Inc., that uses cookies to help us analyze how visitors use this site. The data collected the GA cookie, including your IP address, is transmitted to and stored by Google on servers in the United States. Google may transfer this data to third-parties for additional processing or when required by law.

These acts will only be undergone to protect the company and you as an individual when the law becomes involved.

How Long We Retain Your Data

Generally, we retain data only as long as that data helps us fulfill our business and public good objectives.

Examples of our data retention practices include:
